The PGT Chemistry Teacher will design and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the CBSE curriculum, ensuring students grasp core chemical principles. Daily classroom instruction will include interactive demonstrations, practical experiments, and problem-solving sessions to reinforce understanding. The role also involves mentoring students for school-level chemistry competitions, fostering a competitive yet supportive environment. Regular assessments will be conducted to track progress, with adjustments made to teaching methods as needed. Additionally, the teacher will assist in organizing school events, such as science fairs and guest lectures by industry experts, to bridge academic learning with real-world applications.
The PGT Chemistry Teacher must hold a postgraduate degree in Chemistry with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. At least two years of teaching experience in Chemistry at the high school level is mandatory. While TET/CTET is not mandatory for this position, a valid teaching certificate would be highly beneficial. The successful candidate will also demonstrate strong communication skills, patience, and a passion for nurturing young minds in the science stream.
