Physical Education Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – Methodology Focused

Position Overview

The Physical Education Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) will lead the physical education curriculum at a rural Tier 3 school, integrating modern teaching methodologies to foster holistic student development. The role emphasizes innovative pedagogy, digital literacy, and inclusive practices to meet contemporary educational expectations. The teacher will design and deliver engaging physical education lessons, promote lifelong fitness habits, and contribute to the overall well-being of students aged 14 to 18.

Primary Duties

Design and implement a comprehensive physical education curriculum aligned with national standards and modern teaching methodologies.
Develop lesson plans that incorporate differentiated instruction to cater to diverse learning needs and abilities.
Utilize technology and digital tools to enhance teaching, assessment, and student engagement in physical education.
Promote inclusive practices to ensure all students, including those with disabilities, have equitable access to physical activities.
Organize and supervise sports events, inter-school competitions, and fitness programs to encourage student participation and teamwork.
