Role Summary
The TGT Music Teacher will be responsible for teaching music to students in grades 6-8, following the school's curriculum and syllabus. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and provide constructive feedback. You will also organize and participate in school events, such as concerts, assemblies, and music competitions, to showcase student talent and foster a sense of community.
Required Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Music or a related field.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
- Proficiency in playing at least one musical instrument.
- Strong knowledge of music theory and history.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents.

Pay Structure (Include digital literacy)
The pay structure for this position will be as per the school's norms and will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience. Digital literacy is an essential skill for this role, and candidates are expected to be proficient in using digital tools and platforms for teaching, communication, and administrative tasks.
