Job Description
PRT English Teacher Role at RPS Public Sr. Sec. School in Narnaul
Teach English as a core subject to students in classes from I to VIII. Develop engaging lesson plans that align with the school’s curriculum while ensuring clear communication of grammar, vocabulary, and literature.
Deliver structured classroom instruction, including grammar exercises, reading passages, and simple creative writing tasks. Monitor student progress through daily observations and informal assessments to identify strengths and areas needing improvement.
Prepare and maintain grade-wise lesson notes, activity sheets, and assessment papers. Assist in organizing and conducting weekly or monthly language-based activities, such as debates, poetry recitals, or storytelling sessions.
Ensure compliance with school policies regarding attendance, punctuality, and classroom conduct. Collaborate with the principal and senior teachers to address student behavioral or academic concerns within the scope of your role.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification to qualify for the PRT position in Haryana.
Minimum two years of teaching experience in English or a language subject at the primary or upper primary level. Experience with diverse student backgrounds is a plus.
Salary for this full-time position is Rs.20,000 to Rs.45,000 per month. The role is based in Narnaul, Mahendragarh, Haryana.
