PRT Social Science Teacher Position at Delhi Public School, Panipat Refinery Campus
Delhi Public School at Panipat Refinery seeks a dedicated PRT (Primary Teacher) for Social Science to inspire and guide students in grades 6 to 8. This role focuses on engaging young learners with history, geography, political science, and economics through interactive and curriculum-aligned lessons. You will create a dynamic classroom environment where students explore India’s heritage, global connections, and contemporary social issues while fostering critical thinking and civic awareness.
Core responsibilities include delivering structured Social Science lessons, designing engaging lesson plans that align with CBSE syllabus, and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere. You will assess student progress through regular evaluations, collaborate with the subject coordinator to refine teaching methods, and ensure all students meet academic benchmarks. Participation in school events, parent-teacher interactions, and extracurricular activities related to social awareness will also be part of your role.
You should hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with at least a graduate degree in Social Science or a related field. A passion for teaching and a commitment to nurturing young minds in a diverse classroom are essential. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be highly valued.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of Rs.18,000 to Rs.30,000 per month, along with the opportunity to work in a well-equipped school setting in Panipat, Haryana.
