Collaborate with the science department to share best practices, resources, and innovative teaching techniques.
Assist in organizing school events, science fairs, and workshops that promote scientific awareness among students. Keep accurate records of student progress, attendance, and participation in academic activities. Support the school’s extracurricular programs, such as robotics clubs or environmental initiatives, where science is a key focus.
Qualifications
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Science with a specialization in Physics, Chemistry, or Biology. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree to qualify for PRT positions in government-recognized schools. Strong subject knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology is essential for delivering effective lessons.
Experience
Minimum two years of teaching experience at the primary or upper primary level is required. Familiarity with CBSE or other state board syllabus guidelines is a plus. Ability to communicate complex scientific concepts in simple, understandable terms for young learners is crucial.
