We are committed to integrating technology into our teaching and learning practices. Our PRT Mathematics teacher will be expected to use digital tools and platforms to enhance teaching and learning, including:
- Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Online Math resources and platforms
- Educational software and apps
- Interactive whiteboards and digital classrooms
Work Environment (Include tech implementation):
Our school has a well-equipped computer lab and classrooms with interactive whiteboards. We are committed to providing a technologically rich environment that supports teaching and learning. You will have access to a range of digital tools and platforms to support your teaching practice.
Your Responsibilities:
- Teach Mathematics to students in a rural setting
- Develop and deliver lesson plans that incorporate digital tools and platforms
- Use LMS to track student progress and communicate with parents
- Provide individualized support to students who require extra help
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
- Participate in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with best practices in teaching and learning
Learner Demographics (Specific software/tools):
- Students in grades 6-10
- Software: GeoGebra, Desmos, Mathway
- Tools: Online Math resources, Educational software and apps
Facilities (Tech infrastructure):
- Computer lab with 20 computers
- Interactive whiteboards in classrooms
- Wi-Fi and internet access
- LMS and online resources accessible on school network
Success Metrics:
- Student achievement and progress

Additional Requirements:
- 2 years of teaching experience
- Graduate degree in Mathematics or related field
- No TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) required
