Computer Science (TGT) Vacancy in Sonipat, Haryana
Holy Cross School
Job Description
At our school, you are more than an educator; you are a visionary bringing the language of the future to the heart of our rural community. By stepping into this role, you bridge the gap between tradition and technology, empowering students to dream beyond their local horizons. Your work here will directly transform lives, giving our children the digital tools to compete on a global stage while staying rooted in their heritage. You are not just teaching code; you are unlocking a world of infinite possibilities for a generation that is eager to learn.
Why Join Us
We believe that the best teachers deserve an environment where they are truly seen, heard, and respected. By joining our rural campus, you escape the frantic pace of the city and find a purpose-driven community that deeply values your expertise. We offer the rare chance to be a true pioneer, where your daily efforts have a visible and lasting impact on the growth of young minds who view you as a window to the modern world.
Why Join Us
Your professional and personal growth is as important as our students progress. We foster a culture of mutual respect and emotional support. Here, you are not just a staff member; you are a mentor and a leader. We offer a peaceful work-life balance amidst nature, ensuring you have the mental space to innovate and the professional freedom to shape our technology department according to your creative vision.
Instruction Approach
We move far beyond rote memorization. Your approach should be grounded in project-based learning and creative problem-solving. We encourage a learning by doing philosophy, where students build their first websites, write their first lines of code, and understand the logic behind the screens. You will be responsible for translating complex digital concepts into relatable, everyday examples that resonate with our bright rural scholars, making technology feel accessible rather than intimidating.
Desired Competencies
The ideal candidate holds a Post Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field. You bring at least 2 years of classroom teaching experience, demonstrating a track record of patience and clarity. While a Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) is not required for this position, we look for mastery in programming languages such as Python or Java, along with a deep familiarity with web development and hardware basics. Most importantly, you must possess a heart for service and the ability to inspire genuine curiosity in your students.
Performance Expectations
You will lead classroom instruction for TGT grades, ensuring every student becomes digitally literate and confident. Your success is measured by the enthusiasm and proficiency our students display in the computer lab. You will be expected to manage the school technical lab, organize tech-related clubs or competitions, and collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate digital tools into the broader curriculum. We expect a consistent commitment to fostering an inclusive, encouraging, and disciplined learning atmosphere.
Campus Facilities
Our campus is a serene sanctuary of learning, featuring a dedicated and well-maintained computer laboratory to keep our rural students connected to the world. We provide ample green spaces for outdoor breaks, a resourceful library for quiet study, and a supportive administrative team ready to assist you. For those joining us from outside the area, we provide a welcoming community atmosphere and a staff room designed for collaboration and comfort.
