Oversee the creation and maintenance of teaching aids, models, and lab resources to support hands-on learning.
Monitor student performance through periodic assessments, analyze trends, and implement targeted interventions for weak performers. Mentor 2-3 junior Biology teachers, guiding them in lesson planning, classroom management, and student engagement strategies. Coordinate with the school’s academic coordinator to align Biology curriculum with CBSE guidelines and upcoming board exam patterns.
Prepare students for NTSE, Olympiad, and other competitive exams through focused coaching and resource sharing. Collaborate with the science department to integrate cross-disciplinary projects, especially in environmental science and health education. Represent Biology in school fairs, science exhibitions, and inter-school competitions to build visibility and interest.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Botany, Zoology, or Life Sciences from a recognized Indian university. Minimum 5 years of teaching experience as a TGT Biology Teacher in a CBSE-affiliated school, preferably in Haryana. B.Ed degree from a NCTE-recognized institution with valid CTET or TGT eligibility.
Preference will be given to candidates with NET or SET qualification in Biology, demonstrating subject expertise and research orientation. Familiarity with CBSE curriculum frameworks and assessment patterns is essential. Experience in academic coordination or department leadership is a strong plus.
