PGT Hindi Teacher Position at Presidency Sr Sec School, Sichar
Presidency Sr Sec School in Sichar, Cachar, invites applications for the role of PGT Hindi Teacher. This is a full-time position to enhance Hindi language and literature teaching at the senior secondary level. Responsibilities
Teach Hindi as a core subject across grades 11 and 12, designing lesson plans that align with the latest Assam curriculum guidelines. Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to improve students’ proficiency in grammar, composition, and literature. Collaborate with the school management to introduce new textbooks, workbooks, and supplementary materials approved by the Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Assam.
Assess students’ performance through continuous evaluation, including oral presentations, written assignments, and periodic tests. Participate in school-level academic planning meetings to refine teaching strategies and curriculum standards. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate insights to parents through regular parent-teacher interactions. Ensure compliance with school policies on classroom management and discipline.
Qualification
Hold a postgraduate degree in Hindi with a specialisation in literature, linguistics, or related fields. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification to qualify for the post. Experience in teaching Hindi at the senior secondary level is essential, with a minimum of four years of relevant classroom experience.
Experience
Proven track record of teaching Hindi to students aged 16-18 years, demonstrating adaptability to diverse learning needs. Familiarity with digital teaching tools and resources, such as interactive whiteboards, e-learning platforms, and multimedia presentations. Ability to create visually appealing and interactive lesson materials that cater to both traditional and modern learning approaches.
Salary and Employment Type
