TGT Sanskrit Teacher Job in Goalpara, Assam | School Recruitment
Role
M.a.h Markaz Academy is looking for a TGT Sanskrit Teacher in Goalpara, Assam to conduct classes for classes VI to X. The position is full‑time and based at the school campus in Goalpara.
Responsibilities
Design and deliver the Sanskrit curriculum in line with state board standards, preparing lesson plans, worksheets and assessments. Conduct regular oral and written examinations, evaluate student progress and maintain accurate records. Organise cultural activities such as Sanskrit debates, recitations and festivals to promote language appreciation. Provide remedial support to students who need extra help and coordinate with senior staff for interdisciplinary projects.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in Sanskrit or related field with B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification. TET/CTET qualification is preferred. Minimum two years of teaching experience in a school setting is required.
Experience
At least 2 years of experience teaching Sanskrit at the secondary level, demonstrating effective classroom management and student engagement. Prior involvement in school‑level Sanskrit competitions or cultural programs will be advantageous.
Salary
The salary range is Rs.15,000 - Rs.25,000 per month, payable as per school policy.
Location
