Day-to-Day Duties
As an ASSISTANT PROFESSOR - Information Security, your day-to-day duties will include:
- Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Information Security, such as Network Security, Cryptography, and Cyber Forensics.
- Conducting research in areas related to Information Security, such as threat analysis, vulnerability assessment, and security protocol development.
- Publishing research papers in top-tier journals and conferences, such as IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security and the ACM Conference on Computer and Communications Security.
- Supervising Ph.D. students and guiding them in their research projects.
- Participating in academic and administrative activities of the department, such as curriculum development and departmental meetings.
- Collaborating with other faculty members to develop new research projects and initiatives.
- Mentoring undergraduate students and providing guidance on their academic and research pursuits.
- Participating in departmental and university-level committees to contribute to the growth and development of The Assam Royal Global University.
Who Can Apply
The ideal candidate for this position should have a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering or a related field. A post-doc experience in a reputable research institution is preferred. The candidate should also have a strong research background and a good track record of publications in top-tier journals and conferences.
