Role Summary

Day-to-Day Duties
As a PROFESSOR in Web Technologies, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Web Technologies, including Web Development, Web Design Principles, and Web Engineering.
- Conducting research in Web Technologies, including collaboration with industry partners and other researchers.
- Publishing research papers in top-tier conferences and journals.
- Supervising Ph.D. students and guiding them in their research projects.
- Evaluating student performance and providing feedback.
- Participating in departmental and university committees.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with industry partners and other stakeholders.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in Web Technologies and incorporating them into the curriculum.
Required Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field is mandatory for this position. A post-doctoral research experience is preferred. UGC-NET with JRF is also required. The candidate should have a strong research background and a proven track record of publication in top-tier conferences and journals.
Research & Publications
The successful candidate will be expected to conduct research in Web Technologies, including collaborative projects with industry partners and other researchers. Opportunities for research funding are available through The Assam Royal Global University and other external sources. The candidate is expected to publish research papers in top-tier conferences and journals, including international journals and conferences.
Ph.D. Supervision
As a PROFESSOR in Web Technologies, the successful candidate will be expected to supervise Ph.D. students and guide them in their research projects. The candidate will evaluate student performance and provide feedback. The candidate will also be responsible for thesis evaluation and other academic duties.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is Rs.75,000 - Rs.120,000 per month, as per UGC norms. In addition to the salary, the university provides research grants and other benefits to support the candidate's research activities.
