Role Summary
As a PGT History Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching History to students in Classes 9 to 12, preparing lesson plans, and assessing student progress. You will also contribute to the development of the History department and participate in school events.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons to students in Classes 9 to 12
- Prepare and administer assessments, exams, and evaluations
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to departmental discussions
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop and implement curriculum
- Instruct and guide students in research and project work
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies
- Stay updated with curriculum developments and pedagogical best practices
Who Can Apply
Applicants must have a postgraduate degree in History or a related subject, a B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree, and at least three years of teaching experience. Preference will be given to candidates with a TET/CTET certification. A strong understanding of the History curriculum and a passion for teaching are essential for this role.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a salary of Rs.30,000 - Rs.55,000 per month, along with fringe benefits, including medical insurance, paid leave, and opportunities for professional development.
