The reality of this role
You will be the TGT English Teacher at M.s Memorial Public School in Motihari, handling classes from VI to VIII. Your day starts with checking the previous day’s notebooks and ends with planning the next lesson. You will teach grammar, literature, and writing while keeping students engaged in a medium-sized classroom.
What you will actually do
Prepare lesson plans based on the school syllabus and NCERT books.
Conduct English classes for students in grades VI to VIII.
Correct notebooks and homework daily before the next class.
Organize monthly English activities like debates, elocutions, and spelling bees.
Set and check quarterly test papers for English subjects.
Attend staff meetings and parent-teacher sessions as needed.
Maintain attendance and progress registers for your classes.
Assist in school events where English activities are required.
Who can do this job
You need a post-graduate degree in English with B.Ed or D.El.Ed.
Two years of teaching experience in English at the secondary level is required.
TET or CTET is preferred but not mandatory.
What you need to bring
Strong command over spoken and written English.
Patience to handle students who struggle with grammar and comprehension.
Ability to simplify lessons for students from different backgrounds.
What you get in return
Salary is Rs.20,000 to Rs.30,000 per month.
