Role and Responsibilities
PGT Mathematics Teacher responsible for delivering curriculum aligned lessons to classes XI and XII. Design and implement assessment strategies, including quizzes, assignments, and mock exams. Mentor and guide students for competitive exams such as JEE, BITS, and state-level contests. Collaborate with subject coordinators to integrate interdisciplinary projects and conduct regular class meetings. Maintain accurate student records and progress reports. Participate in faculty development workshops and school events.
Qualifications and Experience
Post graduate degree in Mathematics or related field required. B.Ed or D.El.Ed mandatory for teaching positions; TET/CTET preferred but not compulsory. Minimum of 4 years of teaching experience in a secondary school setting. Strong command over mathematical concepts and problem‑solving techniques. Ability to use educational technology tools and digital resources effectively.
