Job Description
Non-Teaching Teacher (NTT) for Environmental Studies (Evs) at Nawada Public School
Teach Environmental Studies to students in Classes 6 to 12, focusing on ecological awareness, sustainability, and hands-on learning through field trips and experiments. Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with Bihar’s curriculum, ensuring engaging and interactive sessions that blend theory with practical applications.
Plan and conduct weekly experiments, projects, and outdoor activities to reinforce classroom learning. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate environmental themes into interdisciplinary studies, such as science and social science subjects.
Assist in organizing school events like Earth Day celebrations, tree-planting drives, and awareness campaigns to promote environmental consciousness among students and parents. Maintain accurate records of student progress, participation, and assessment results for reporting to the school management.
Prepare and maintain well-organized classroom resources, including lab equipment, posters, and digital materials to support teaching and learning. Ensure compliance with school policies on safety, waste management, and environmental best practices.
Attend staff meetings and professional development workshops to stay updated on teaching methods and educational trends in Environmental Studies.
Qualifications and Salary:
Hold a graduate degree in any discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Three years of teaching experience preferred but not mandatory. TET/CTET certification is not mandatory but highly recommended. Offered monthly salary ranges from Rs.18,000 to Rs.25,000. Full-time, permanent position in Nawada, Bihar.
