St Josph Public School is looking for a dynamic and experienced Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Computer Science to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Computer Science to our students and contributing to the development of the school.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver lessons to students of varying abilities and age groups.
- Prepare and use a variety of teaching resources and materials to stimulate learning.
- Assess, record and report on student progress and attainment.
- Develop and implement schemes of work and lesson plans.
- Prepare students for internal and external exams.
- Maintain a well-organized and inclusive learning environment.
- Participate in professional development and training to enhance teaching skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement new initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in school events and functions.
Who Can Apply
Must Have:
- A postgraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- B.Ed/D.El.Ed qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of Computer Science and related curriculum.
Good to Have:
- Experience of teaching Computer Science to students of various age groups.
- Familiarity with curriculum development and assessment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
- Strong understanding of Computer Science concepts and curriculum.
- Ability to use technology to enhance teaching and learning.
