Key Responsibilities
Plan and conduct daily Art and Craft lessons for classes I to V, aligning activities with the state curriculum and fostering creativity among students.
Design and prepare teaching aids, models, and projects that reflect local culture and seasonal festivals, encouraging students to explore traditional crafts of Chhattisgarh.
Assess student work through observation, portfolios, and simple rubrics, providing constructive feedback and maintaining records of progress.
Collaborate with class teachers to integrate art concepts into broader learning themes and support cross‑curricular projects.
Organise exhibitions and school art fairs to showcase student talent and involve parents in the learning process.
Maintain a safe and tidy classroom environment, ensuring proper storage and usage of materials and tools.
Assessment and Planning Duties
Prepare weekly lesson plans, including objectives, materials needed, and step‑by‑step activity guides.
Create age‑appropriate assessment tools to evaluate creativity, fine‑motor skills, and understanding of art concepts.
Monitor attendance and participation, adjusting teaching strategies for students who need additional support.
Submit periodic progress reports to the Head of Department and participate in staff meetings to discuss curriculum enhancements.
