Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons to students in grades 6-10
- Develop and implement Science curriculum that meets the needs of our students
- Assess and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in Science education and incorporate new ideas into the classroom
Required Qualifications
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution
- CTET or TET certification preferred but not required
- Postgraduate degree in Science or related field (B.Sc., M.Sc. in relevant subject)
- 2 years of experience teaching Science in a school setting
