Conduct hands-on activities using tools like Scratch, Tux Paint, and basic coding platforms to keep students engaged.
Assess student progress through practical assignments, quizzes, and simple project work to track understanding.
Maintain classroom discipline while encouraging collaborative learning and peer interaction during computer lab sessions.
Collaborate with other PRT teachers to integrate Computer Science concepts into cross-curricular activities.
Organize small coding clubs or tech fairs to showcase student projects and foster interest in technology.
Communicate regularly with parents to share updates on student progress and suggest ways to support learning at home.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with valid certification.
Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching Computer Science at the primary level.
Familiarity with CBSE or NCERT Computer Science curriculum for Classes 1 to 5 preferred.
Preferred Skills
Ability to explain programming concepts through storytelling and visual aids.
Experience with block-based coding tools like Scratch or similar platforms.
Strong classroom management skills with young learners in a technology-enabled environment.
Basic knowledge of operating systems, word processing, and multimedia tools.
Good communication skills in English and Hindi to interact effectively with students and parents.
