Job Description
Responsibilities
Teach Mathematics to Primary (Class I‑V) students as per the prescribed curriculum, using engaging methods and appropriate teaching aids.
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets and visual tools to simplify concepts and foster analytical thinking.
Assess student performance through classwork, quizzes and periodic tests, providing feedback to students and parents.
Student Support
Identify learning gaps and offer remedial sessions or additional practice to ensure comprehension.
Maintain regular communication with parents regarding progress and areas needing attention.
Coordination and Administration
Collaborate with fellow teachers for interdisciplinary activities and school events.
Maintain accurate attendance, grade registers and other required records in accordance with school policies.
Qualifications
Graduate degree in any discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification.
TET/CTET certification preferred but not mandatory.
Minimum two years of teaching experience in a school setting, preferably handling primary Mathematics.
Experience
At least 2 years of classroom teaching experience, demonstrating ability to manage a primary classroom effectively.
Salary
Rs.16,000 - Rs.32,000 per month
