Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced PRT Music Teacher to join our Music Department at Avb Public School. As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Music to students from grade 1 to 8. You will be part of a dynamic team of music teachers who are passionate about music education and committed to providing high-quality instruction to our students.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver Music lessons to students from grade 1 to 8
- Develop and implement engaging Music curriculum to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement Music events and activities
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of Music programs
- Supervise students during Music-related activities
- Maintain a safe and organized Music classroom environment
- Perform administrative tasks as required
Required Qualifications
- B.Ed./D.El.Ed. degree in Music or related field
- TET/CTET certification is desirable but not essential
- 2 years of experience in teaching Music in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of Music theory and pedagogy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Commitment to providing high-quality Music education to students
