About This Role
The Atl Lab Incharge at Gd Goenka School will oversee the daily operations of the school’s ATL (Atal Tinkering Lab) in New Delhi. This is a full-time administrative and leadership role that ensures the lab functions efficiently and supports innovation-driven activities for students. The position requires experience in managing makerspaces, STEM labs, or similar facilities with a focus on student engagement and resource utilization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage and maintain the ATL lab equipment, tools, and inventory to ensure smooth operations.
2. Supervise lab technicians and support staff to maintain safety and cleanliness standards.
3. Organize and conduct ATL sessions, workshops, and tinkering activities for students.
4. Collaborate with teachers and coordinators to integrate ATL projects into the curriculum.
5. Track and report lab usage, equipment maintenance, and student participation metrics.
6. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and ethical guidelines for lab activities.
7. Source and manage budgets for lab supplies, consumables, and equipment upgrades.
8. Promote innovation culture by encouraging student-led projects and competitions.
Eligibility Criteria
A graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 3 years of experience in managing labs, makerspaces, or similar facilities is required. Proficiency in basic computer applications such as MS Office and lab management software is essential. Prior experience in an educational or STEM lab environment is preferred but not mandatory.
