Strategic responsibilities
Drive the English curriculum from classes I to V, ensuring alignment with CBSE standards and Springdales’ progressive pedagogy.
Plan and conduct weekly team meetings to share best practices, co-create resources, and monitor student progress across grades.
Design differentiated lesson plans that cater to varied learning levels in English, integrating storytelling, phonics, and grammar seamlessly.
Conduct demonstration lessons and provide constructive feedback to PRT English Teachers in New Delhi, strengthening classroom delivery.
Organize inter-house English events such as elocution, spell-bee, and creative writing competitions to build linguistic confidence.
Collaborate with the school librarian to curate age-appropriate English reading corners and reading programs.
Liaise with parents during PTMs to communicate student progress and suggest home-based English learning activities.
Contribute to the annual academic calendar and assessment blueprint for English across primary grades.
Support the school’s inclusion policy by adapting materials for students with diverse learning needs.
What you bring
Postgraduate in English with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized Indian university.
Minimum two years of full-time English teaching experience in a reputed school, preferably in New Delhi or the NCR region.
Experience leading small teams or mentoring junior teachers in English curriculum delivery.
Strong command of spoken and written English with a passion for nurturing young readers and writers.
Familiarity with CBSE frameworks and classroom technology tools used in Springdales School.
