Job Description
PRT Hindi Teacher – The Indian School, New Delhi
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Hindi lessons for primary classes, adhering to the school curriculum and age‑appropriate pedagogy. Assess student progress through classwork, projects and periodic tests, providing constructive feedback to learners and parents. Maintain classroom discipline, prepare teaching aids and collaborate with senior teachers for interdisciplinary activities.
Qualifications and Experience
Graduate degree in any discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Minimum two years of teaching experience in a school setting, preferably handling Hindi at the primary level. TET/CTET certification is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong command of Hindi language, both spoken and written, and familiarity with contemporary teaching tools.

Effective communication with young learners, ability to simplify complex concepts, and skill in creating an inclusive classroom environment. Proficiency in using digital resources for lesson enhancement. Commitment to continuous professional development and participation in school events.
Employment Details
Full‑time position based in New Delhi, Delhi. Salary range is Rs.17,000 – Rs.30,000 per month, payable monthly.
