Job Overview
The Swimming Coach position at Gd Goenka School is a full-time, non-teaching role focused on developing competitive and recreational swimming programs for students aged 5 to 18. You will lead squad training, manage pool operations, and ensure safety compliance during all aquatic activities. What You Will Do
Plan and conduct daily swimming sessions for students across different age groups and skill levels.
Monitor student progress through structured assessments and maintain training records for each swimmer.
Ensure pool hygiene, equipment maintenance, and adherence to safety protocols at all times.
Organize inter-school swimming meets and coordinate logistics with school administration.
Collaborate with sports coordinators to integrate swimming into the school’s overall sports calendar.
Train students for national and state-level competitions under Gd Goenka School’s banner.
Conduct parent orientation sessions to explain training methodology and progress tracking.
Liaise with external coaches and resource persons for specialized training inputs when required.
Who Can Apply
Must Have
Graduation in any discipline with a recognized swimming coaching certificate.
Minimum 3 years of experience in competitive swimming coaching, preferably in schools or clubs.
Valid first aid and CPR certification with experience in water safety management.
Good to Have
Experience working in elite school sports programs.
Familiarity with FINA or School Games Federation of India (SGFI) competition guidelines.
Knowledge of nutrition and recovery protocols for young athletes.
