TGT Computer Science Teacher – The Indian School, New Delhi
The Indian School invites an experienced TGT Computer Science teacher to join its full‑time faculty in New Delhi. The role involves delivering the Computer Science curriculum to classes IX‑XII and contributing to the overall academic environment of the school.
In this position you will plan and conduct lessons that align with the NCERT framework, integrate practical lab work, and use digital resources to enhance student learning. You will assess student progress through assignments, projects and examinations, and provide timely feedback to help learners improve.
Core duties include preparing lesson plans, conducting programming and networking labs, supervising computer labs, and maintaining accurate records of attendance and grades. You will also mentor students for competitions, guide them in developing small‑scale projects, and collaborate with senior staff on curriculum updates.
The school expects a teacher who can create an engaging, student‑centred classroom, manage diverse learning abilities, and uphold the institution’s standards of discipline and academic excellence. Strong communication with parents and colleagues is essential, as is participation in faculty meetings and school events.
Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field and possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, a minimum of two years of teaching experience at the secondary level is required. Familiarity with current educational technology and assessment methods is desirable.
The remuneration for this role is Rs.22,000 - Rs.45,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
