- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons to students in grades 6-10.
- Develop and implement Science curricula that cater to different learning styles.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to track student progress.
- Prepare and distribute lesson plans, worksheets, and other teaching materials.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop new ideas.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and projects.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in Science education and integrate new ideas into teaching practice.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Postgraduate degree in Science with B.Ed/D.El.Ed.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching Science at the secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum and pedagogy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
