Role Overview
The Admission Counsellor will be the first point of contact for prospective parents and students, guiding them through the school’s admission process and showcasing the unique environment of Vspk International School. This full‑time role involves managing enquiries, coordinating tours, and ensuring a smooth enrolment experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound calls, emails and walk‑ins, providing accurate information about school programs, fees and facilities.
- Conduct campus tours and presentation sessions for prospective families, highlighting the school’s strengths and values.
- Maintain and update the admissions database, tracking leads, follow‑ups and conversion status.
- Collaborate with the administration team to schedule interviews, document verification and fee collection.
- Prepare and share admission reports with senior management on a weekly basis.
- Resolve queries and address concerns promptly to enhance parent satisfaction.
- Participate in outreach activities, school fairs and community events to generate new leads.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and government regulations related to admissions.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, fluent in English and Hindi.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM or admissions software.
- Ability to build rapport with diverse families and understand their expectations.
- Problem‑solving mindset and calm demeanor under pressure.
- Team player who can coordinate effectively with staff across departments.
Qualifications & Experience
A graduate degree is essential. Candidates with a minimum of three years of experience in school admissions, counselling or related administrative roles are preferred. While TET/CTET certification is not required, a background in educational environments will be advantageous.
Salary
The position offers a monthly remuneration of Rs.25,000 – Rs.35,000, commensurate with experience and performance.
