Responsibilities

In addition to classroom duties, the teacher is expected to prepare students for competitive examinations such as the UGC‑NET and other national level tests. Conducting workshops, seminars, and guest lectures to broaden students’ perspectives on global economics trends is encouraged. Maintaining accurate attendance records and ensuring compliance with school policies will be part of the routine administrative responsibilities.
Qualification and experience
Candidates must hold a post‑graduate degree in Economics or a related field and possess a valid B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification. A minimum of four years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level is required. While TET or CTET certification is not mandatory, applicants with these qualifications will be given preference. Demonstrated ability to use technology in the classroom, such as digital simulations or data analysis tools, will be considered an asset. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and a commitment to student development are essential.

The role offers a competitive salary ranging from Rs.40,000 to Rs.50,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
