PRT Dance Teacher Job in North West Delhi, Delhi | School Recruitment
Gitarattan International Business School, Delhi invites a dedicated PRT Dance Teacher to join its vibrant Rohini campus. This role focuses on nurturing students’ artistic and cultural growth through structured dance programs. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for classical, folk, or contemporary dance styles while ensuring alignment with the school’s holistic education philosophy.
Daily Responsibilities
Plan and conduct daily dance classes for students, ensuring age-appropriate techniques and engagement. Prepare engaging lesson plans that blend creativity with fundamental dance principles. Maintain a safe and organized dance studio space, including equipment and props. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate dance activities into interdisciplinary projects.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and review annual dance curriculum plans in consultation with the school’s academic team. Assess student progress through practical evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Organize school-wide dance performances or cultural events to showcase student talent. Participate in staff meetings to discuss dance pedagogy and share best practices.
Periodic Responsibilities
Coordinate with external dance artists or choreographers for special workshops or guest sessions. Attend training workshops or certifications to enhance teaching skills in modern dance techniques. Ensure compliance with school policies on student safety, health, and discipline during dance activities.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a background in dance education. Minimum three years of teaching experience in dance, preferably in a school setting. Experience in teaching students from Class I to XII is preferred. Familiarity with TET/CTET guidelines is beneficial but not mandatory.
