Role Summary
We are looking for a skilled PRT Dance Teacher to join National Public School in Narela, North West Delhi, Delhi. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Dance to students in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a PRT Dance Teacher, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement engaging Dance lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
Pedagogy and Tools

Our Dance program incorporates a range of techniques, including Bharatanatyam, Kathak, and contemporary styles. The successful candidate will be expected to use a variety of tools and equipment, such as audio-visual aids, props, and music, to enhance the learning experience.
What You Will Do
1. Plan and deliver Dance lessons to students in grades 1-12, using a range of teaching methods and materials.
2. Develop and implement engaging Dance units that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
3. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure that students achieve their full potential.
4. Collaborate with other teachers to develop and implement cross-curricular Dance projects.
5. Maintain a safe and organized Dance classroom environment that promotes student well-being and physical fitness.
6. Develop and implement Dance-related extracurricular activities, such as Dance performances and competitions.
7. Attend staff meetings and contribute to the development of Dance policies and procedures.
8. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest Dance teaching methods and technologies.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you will need to have a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree in Dance Education or a related field. Experience in teaching Dance in a school setting is essential, with a minimum of 3 years' experience preferred.
Preferred Skills
The successful candidate will have excellent Dance teaching skills, with a strong understanding of pedagogy and assessment. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. A strong understanding of Dance education policy and practice in India is also essential.
