Day-to-Day Duties
As a PRT Dance Teacher at Shri Daulat Ram Public School, your day-to-day duties will include:
* Curriculum ownership: Developing and implementing Dance curriculum aligned with the CBSE standards.
* Mentoring junior staff: Guiding and supporting junior Dance teachers to enhance their teaching skills.
* Board results: Contributing to the overall academic performance of the school by ensuring excellent results in Dance.
* Lesson planning: Creating engaging and interactive lesson plans for Dance classes.
* Assessment and evaluation: Conducting regular assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress.
* Parent-teacher meetings: Attending parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress and provide feedback.
* Departmental meetings: Participating in departmental meetings to discuss curriculum development and best practices.
* School events: Organizing and participating in school events, such as Dance recitals and cultural festivals.
* Resource management: Managing Dance resources, including equipment and materials.
* Budgeting: Contributing to the management of the Dance department's budget.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position, you should have:
* A B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree from a recognized university.
* A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in Dance.
* A strong background in Dance education, preferably with a specialization in a particular Dance style (e.g., Bharatnatyam, Kathak, etc.).
* NET or SET certification preferred but not mandatory.
