About This Role
Appejay School, a premier English medium school in Rohini, North West Delhi, Delhi, invites applications for the position of PRT English Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English to students from classes I to X. This is a full-time position requiring a strong passion for English language and literature.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver English lessons to students from classes I to X.
2. Prepare and administer English language assessments and exams.
3. Develop and implement English language curriculum in accordance with school guidelines.
4. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
5. Participate in school events and activities.
6. Maintain accurate student records and progress reports.
7. Collaborate with colleagues to improve English language learning outcomes.
8. Stay updated with new English language teaching methods and technologies.
9. Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have:
* Bachelor's degree in English or related field from a recognized university.
* B.Ed./D.El.Ed. degree from a recognized institution.
* Valid TET/CTET certificate (not mandatory).
Good to Have:
* Master's degree in English or related field.
* Experience of teaching English in a recognized school.
* Knowledge of English language teaching methodologies and technologies.
Preferred Skills
* Strong English language skills, both written and spoken.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in a team environment.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Familiarity with digital tools and technologies for English language teaching.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new English language teaching methods and technologies.
Salary and Benefits
* Salary: Rs.15,000 - Rs.30,000 per month.
