Role Summary
Rising Star Sr. Sec. School in Rohini, North West Delhi, invites applications for the post of PRT English Teacher (full-time) to join our vibrant teaching community. As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching and guiding students in their English language skills.
Pedagogy and Tools
We use a variety of methods and tools to teach English, including project-based learning, group discussions, and literature analysis. Our English lab is equipped with audio-visual aids, computers, and educational software to facilitate interactive learning.
What You Will Do
- Teach English language and literature to students from grades VI to XII.
- Prepare and implement lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations.
- Conduct remedial classes for struggling students and guide them in achieving their goals.
- Participate in English language development programs and activities for teachers and students.
- Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement curriculum and activities.
- Contribute to the development of the English department and the school.
- Attend staff meetings, workshops, and training programs.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position, you must have a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree in English or a related field. A TET or CTET certification is also preferred.
