About This Role
As a PRT Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to students of classes VI to X. You will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about teaching and committed to using technology to enhance the learning experience.
Pedagogy and Tools
At Rising Star Sr. Sec. School, we believe in using technology to supplement traditional teaching methods. You will be expected to use smart boards to create interactive lessons, Google Classroom to share resources with students, and our LMS to track student progress. We also encourage the use of digital tools to create multimedia presentations and online quizzes.
What You Will Do
- Plan and deliver lessons to classes VI to X
- Use smart boards to create interactive lessons and engage students
- Share resources with students through Google Classroom
- Use our LMS to track student progress and provide feedback
- Create multimedia presentations using digital tools
- Design online quizzes to assess student understanding
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and assessment plans
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions
- Maintain records of student progress and attendance
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A graduate degree in Mathematics or equivalent
- A valid B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching Mathematics
- Strong knowledge of Mathematics and its applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills
- Digital literacy and proficiency in using Google Classroom and LMS
- Familiarity with online teaching tools and multimedia presentations
- Ability to use technology to enhance the learning experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
