About This Role
This Science General Teacher position at a School in Rohini, North West Delhi, Delhi is now accepting applications for a talented and experienced educator to join our team at Gd Goenka Public School Rohini. As a PRT Science General Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our young students by imparting knowledge and fostering a love for Science. You will be responsible for teaching Science to students from Class 6 to 8.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons to students from Class 6 to 8.
2. Prepare and administer assessments to evaluate student progress.
3. Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
4. Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress.
5. Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student performance.
6. Participate in staff meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
7. Supervise students during Science experiments and laboratory activities.
8. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement Science projects.
9. Monitor and maintain a safe and organized Science laboratory.
Required Qualifications
Must Have:
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution
- Relevant teaching experience of at least 3 years in a School
- Fluency in Hindi and English languages
Good to Have:
- CTET or TET certification
- Experience with CBSE curriculum
- Knowledge of computer-aided teaching tools
Preferred Skills
- Strong subject knowledge in Science
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Proficiency in using digital tools for teaching and learning
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
- Willingness to participate in professional development opportunities
