PRT Science Teacher Position at North-ex Public School in Rohini, Delhi
North-ex Public School in Rohini, North West Delhi, seeks a dedicated PRT Science Teacher to join its dynamic academic team. This role focuses on delivering engaging and interactive science education to students, ensuring they grasp fundamental concepts through hands-on experiments, practical demonstrations, and real-world applications. The PRT Science Teacher will be responsible for planning and conducting daily science classes, covering topics such as physics, chemistry, and biology. Daily lesson preparation, including lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessment strategies, will be a key part of the role. The teacher must also engage students in group discussions, experiments, and projects to enhance their understanding and problem-solving skills. Regular classroom observations and feedback sessions with the principal will ensure continuous improvement in teaching methods.
The PRT Science Teacher will collaborate with the science department to align curriculum standards with North-ex Public School’s educational goals. This includes participating in department meetings, sharing teaching resources, and staying updated on educational trends and advancements in science education. The role also involves supervising student lab activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and maintaining a well-organized science lab environment.
Attention to student progress is crucial, with the teacher documenting observations, providing constructive feedback, and working with students who need additional support. The PRT will also assist in organizing science-related extracurricular activities, such as science fairs, quizzes, and workshops, to encourage a deeper interest in the subject. The teacher must maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere while adhering to school policies and guidelines.
Candidates with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree and at least two years of teaching experience in science are required. A graduate degree in science or a related field is mandatory. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory for this position, it will be highly valued. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.16,000 to Rs.35,000 per month, with the position offering a full-time contract.
