What You Will Do
As a PRT Science Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing differentiated instruction to cater to various learning styles and abilities
- Creating engaging lesson plans that promote hands-on learning and experimentation
- Developing and implementing a range of assessment strategies to measure student progress
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop curriculum and improve teaching practices
- Providing support and accommodations for students with special needs
- Participating in parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress
- Maintaining a well-organized and safe classroom environment
- Staying up-to-date with curriculum changes and developments in science education
- Participating in school-wide professional development opportunities
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, you must have:
- A B.Ed or D.El.Ed in Science or a related field
- A strong understanding of inclusive pedagogy and classroom management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
