About This Role
We are seeking a PRT Social Science Teacher to join our faculty in North West Delhi. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in Social Science, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to create engaging lesson plans.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver Social Science lessons to students in grades 6-10
- Develop and implement classroom activities to promote student engagement and participation
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum changes
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development workshops
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress
- Supervise students during extracurricular activities
- Participate in school events and exhibitions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Science or related field
- D.El.Ed or B.Ed degree
- Two years of teaching experience
- Strong knowledge of Social Science curriculum and pedagogy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
