Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in Psychology, Counseling, or related field required. Minimum 2 years of experience in a school or educational setting preferred.
Responsibilities
Provide individual and group counseling to students, addressing academic, social, and emotional concerns. Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans in collaboration with school leadership.
Coordinate with parents and teachers to support student wellbeing and facilitate smooth academic progress.
Lead workshops on stress management, coping strategies, and resilience building for students and staff.
Maintain confidential records, prepare reports for school administration, and contribute to policy development on student mental health.
Support crisis intervention and referral to external mental health services when necessary.
Collaborate with school leadership to integrate counseling services into the overall school environment, ensuring a supportive and inclusive culture.
Salary
Rs.20,000 – Rs.35,000 per month.
