Day-to-Day Duties
1. Develop and implement a structured dance curriculum aligned with Cambridge School’s academic and extracurricular goals.
2. Lead workshops and training sessions for students, teachers, and staff to promote dance skills and creativity.
3. Collaborate with the school’s arts department to integrate dance into school events, festivals, and inter-house competitions.
4. Organize and mentor student dance troupes, ensuring they perform at school functions and local cultural events.
5. Maintain records of student progress, attendance, and participation in dance activities for administrative and reporting purposes.
6. Represent Cambridge School at dance-related events, competitions, or exhibitions in South Delhi.
7. Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for dance programs, including equipment, venues, and training costs.
8. Foster a positive and inclusive environment where students of all backgrounds feel encouraged to explore dance.
Eligibility Criteria
Hold a postgraduate degree in education or a related field, such as B.Ed or D.El.Ed. Strong organizational skills and experience in managing extracurricular programs are essential. Familiarity with school administration processes and basic computer proficiency for documentation and reporting are required.
