Job Summary
Cambridge School in Defence Colony, South Delhi, seeks a dynamic professional for a Music Teacher Job in South Delhi. The role involves overseeing the school’s music program, coordinating events, managing resources, and supporting extracurricular activities. The incumbent will report to the Principal and work closely with the Arts Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of music concerts, festivals and inter‑school competitions, ensuring smooth logistics and adherence to budget.
- Manage the music department’s inventory, including instruments, audio equipment and learning materials, maintaining records and scheduling maintenance.
- Liaise with external musicians, cultural groups and vendors to arrange workshops, master‑classes and performances for students.
- Develop and monitor the annual music curriculum calendar, aligning activities with school events and academic timelines.
- Supervise and mentor support staff, providing guidance on equipment handling, safety protocols and event set‑up.
- Prepare reports on program outcomes, participation rates and resource utilization for senior management review.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate degree with B.Ed or D.El.Ed preferred; TET/CTET qualification is an advantage.
- Minimum three years of experience in managing school music programs or related extracurricular activities.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to handle multiple projects, and proficiency in basic budgeting.
Compensation
- Salary: Rs.20,000 - Rs.35,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

- Position based in Defence Colony, South Delhi, Delhi, offering easy access to public transport and proximity to cultural venues.
