Responsibilities
Teach Art And Craft subjects in accordance with the CBSE syllabus, covering themes like textiles, pottery, painting, and craft-based storytelling. Design and implement creative lessons that integrate local cultural elements, such as traditional embroidery or block printing, to make learning relatable. Prepare and maintain art supplies, ensuring classrooms remain safe and well-stocked for student activities. Collaborate with the principal and subject coordinators to refine teaching methods and assess student progress through practical evaluations. Organize extracurricular art events, exhibitions, or workshops to showcase student talent and foster a vibrant creative community.
Requirements
Hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with a passion for visual arts education. A graduate degree in Fine Arts, Design, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Experience in teaching Art And Craft to children aged 6–12 years is essential, with at least three years of relevant classroom experience. Possession of TET/CTET certification is advantageous but not mandatory for this role. Strong communication skills, creativity, and the ability to adapt teaching styles to diverse learning needs are critical. Familiarity with educational technology for art projects is a plus.
Compensation
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs.18,000 to Rs.30,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
