Specific duties and responsibilities
- Deliver daily dance lessons to classes 6‑10, aligning with curriculum standards.
- Design choreography for inter‑school competitions and cultural festivals.
- Conduct individual skill assessments and provide personalized feedback.
- Coordinate with the arts department to schedule workshops and guest lectures.
- Maintain an organized studio, ensuring safety and proper use of equipment.
- Mentor junior teachers and assist in training new staff.
- Prepare performance materials, including costumes, music, and lighting cues.
- Engage parents through progress updates and showcase invitations.
Subject‑specific qualifications and expertise
Graduate in dance or related field, B.Ed or D.El.Ed mandatory, TET/CTET preferred. Proven experience of at least 3 years teaching dance in a school setting. Familiarity with Indian classical forms and contemporary techniques.

Strong stage presence, excellent communication, and the ability to inspire diverse learners. Proficiency in choreography, music theory, and movement analysis. Adaptability to incorporate technology such as video playback for technique review.
Salary and benefits
