Job Overview
At Savitri Public School in Vivek Vihar, South Delhi, we are looking for an experienced PRT Mathematics Teacher to join our Mathematics faculty. As a key member of our Mathematics department, you will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to students from classes VI to X.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics to classes VI to X in a way that caters to different learning styles and abilities.
- Prepare and implement Mathematics curricula to ensure students meet the learning objectives set by the CBSE board.
- Develop and use a range of teaching and learning strategies to engage students and promote deep learning.
- Use technology to enhance teaching and learning in Mathematics.
- Provide one-to-one support to students who need extra help in Mathematics.
- Prepare students for Mathematics board exams, focusing on areas of difficulty and providing targeted support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement Mathematics curricula and assessments.
- Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Mathematics curriculum and assessment framework.
- Keep accurate records of student progress and attainment in Mathematics.
- Participate in school-wide Mathematics initiatives and events.
- Contribute to the development of Mathematics resources and materials for the school.
Eligibility Criteria
- B.Ed qualification with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
- TET or CTET qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
- A strong background in Mathematics, with a graduate degree in the subject.
