Scope of the Role
The role involves conducting dynamic Physical Education classes for students in the school, coordinating inter‑school sports events, and maintaining a safe and engaging environment on campus. Core Academic Duties
Students receive structured training in sports such as athletics, cricket, basketball, and indoor games. Assessment and Planning Duties
Lesson plans are prepared weekly, incorporating fitness objectives and skill milestones. Student performance is evaluated through practical assessments, participation records, and fitness tests. Feedback is provided to students and parents, and adjustments are made to individual training plans as needed.
Qualification and Experience
A graduate degree is mandatory, with B.Ed or D.El.Ed preferred for teaching positions. TET/CTET certification is desirable but not compulsory. A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting is required, demonstrating competence in delivering Physical Education programs and managing classroom dynamics.
