PRT Social Science Teacher Position at Amity International School, Saket
Amity International School in Saket seeks a dedicated PRT Social Science Teacher to inspire young minds with engaging lessons in history, geography, and current affairs. Your role will be central to shaping students’ understanding of global and regional dynamics through interactive and curriculum-aligned teaching.
You will design and deliver age-appropriate lessons covering Indian and world history, geography, economics, and civic awareness. Daily classroom management will include monitoring student progress, addressing learning gaps, and fostering a respectful and inclusive environment. Collaborate with the subject coordinator to adapt teaching methods for diverse learning needs, ensuring alignment with the school’s progressive curriculum.
Engage parents and stakeholders through regular updates on student performance and participation in school events related to social awareness. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and behavior to support holistic development. Ensure compliance with school policies on safety, discipline, and academic standards.
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a graduate degree in Social Science. Three years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting, is essential. Salary for this full-time position is Rs.18,000 to Rs.30,000 per month in South Delhi.
