You will conduct engaging Social Science classes for grades 6 to 8, integrating local history, geography, and civics with interactive discussions. The role demands a steady rhythm of lesson preparation, classroom delivery, and student assessment.
What you will actually do
- Prepare lesson plans aligned with the state curriculum and school objectives.
- Deliver dynamic lessons on Indian history, political science, and economics, using visual aids and real‑time examples.
- Facilitate class debates, project work, and field visits to local heritage sites.
- Assess student performance through quizzes, assignments, and periodic tests.
- Provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate attendance records.
- Coordinate with co‑teachers to integrate cross‑disciplinary projects.
- Participate in faculty meetings to share best practices and contribute to curriculum development.
- Mentor younger teachers and support new staff in acclimating to the school culture.
Who can do this job
A graduate with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed is required, and a minimum of three years of classroom experience is essential. A strong command of Social Science content and a passion for teaching at the middle‑school level are non‑negotiable. TET/CTET is not mandatory but valued.
